 Jeffrey W. Bird, M.D., Ph.D.Jeff Bird, Ph.D., M.D., joined our Board in 2008. He has been a Managing Director of Sutter Hill Ventures, a venture capital firm, since 2002. Jeff was a co-founder of Threshold, led the Company’s Series A financing in 2001, and was formerly a Threshold Board member from 2001 to 2004. Jeff was previously Senior Vice President, Business Operations at Gilead Sciences, where he oversaw business development and commercial activities. Jeff received a degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford in 1982, a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology in 1988 and a M.D. in 1992 from Stanford Medical School. Jeff is currently a board member of a number of private biotechnology companies.  |
